Town Council — Mon., April 11 at 6:30 p.m.; Town Hall Council Chambers

  • The board is holding a special budget session to assess town services, such as safety services, recreation and leisure services, library services, human services and day care enterprises, and adult services with respect to the proposed budget for fiscal year 2011-12.

Board of Education — Tues., April 12 at 7 p.m.; Town Hall Council Chambers

  • Dates for graduation and the last day of school will be set.
  • Action will be taken on the replacement of the roof at John F. Kennedy Elementary School.

Agenda highlights:

  • The committee will discuss joining the West Hartford-Bloomfield Health District.

Town Council — Wed., April 13 at 6:30 p.m.; Town Hall Council Chambers

Agenda highlights:

  • This is another budget session, during which the council will take a look at the town's information services, development services, community development and administrative services with respect to the proposed budget for fiscal year 2011-12.
