This Week at Town Hall

A look ahead to happenings in local government.

With one week until the next town council meeting, and three weeks until the next board of education meeting, town boards and commissions will be busy review plans, proposals and applications.

The following commissions are scheduled to meet this week:

Windsor Housing Authority — Mon., Sept. 24 at 3:30 P.M.; 40 Henry Street (Shad Run Terrace)

Historic District Commission — Tues., Sept. 25 at 5:30 p.m.; town hall ludow room

Public Building Commission — Tues., Sept. 25 at 7:30 p.m.; town hall ludlow room

Housing Code Board of Appeals — Wed., Sept. 26 at 5 p.m.; town hall rose room

The public building commission will review a number of major projects in town, including anticipated completion of repairs to the Windsor High School auditorium. Also included on the commission's agenda is an assessment of Poquonock School's heating system, the design of roof replacement at L.P. Wilson, the design of 330 Windsor Avenue's emergency generator, and an energy, fire and security design study of town facilities.
