S&P Confirms Windsor's AAA Credit Rating
The town is just one of two dozen such towns in the state.
Town Manager Peter Souza announced Monday the town’s AAA credit rating has been confirmed by Standard & Poor’s.
The S&P confirmation makes Windsor one of just two dozen Connecticut towns with a AAA rating, said Souza, adding that S&P made its determination based on the town’s location, access to large employment centers, strong income levels, strong financial services and a low to moderate debt burden, among other factors.

Souza also revealed S&P assigned a stable outlook for Windsor’s financial future.
