During a special meeting of town council members Monday night, Don Trinks was elected mayor of Windsor, Al Simon was elected deputy mayor, and the new town council was sworn in.
Trinks has served as mayor of Windsor since 2001.
Jody Terranova (D) and Lisa Boccia are the newest members of the council.
Once sworn in, the council voted to approve the appropriation of $290,000 for storm debris removal costs.
The amount, as Simon pointed out, won't come close to making a dent in the town's undesignated fund, which has $15 million.
