Local Legislators to Celebrate Windsor Train Stop Development Today

Legislators representing Windsor will speak about the approval of funds to develop a high speed rail line through town.

Legislators representing Windsor will be on hand tomorrow afternoon at the train station to discuss and celebrate the development of a high-speed rail line station in town. Earlier today, the State Bond Commission approved funding for the development of the station area.

The stop will be a part of the New Haven - Hartford - Springfield line.

State Representatives Peggy Sayers (D-60th district), David Baram (D-15th district) and Elaine O'Brien (D-61st district) will join Speaker of the House Christopher G. Donovan (D-Meriden) at the train station on Central Street at 2 p.m., Fri., Feb. 25.
