WINDSOR, CONN., January 19,  2012 – Windsor  Public Schools Interim Superintendent Dr.  Ernest L. Perlini will  present his 2012-2013 proposed budget to the Board of Education on Tuesday,  January 24, 2012. The session will begin at 7 p.m. in the Council Chambers of Windsor Town Hall at 275  Broad Street.

As part of the Windsor Board of  Education’s process of examining the proposed budget,  three Public Forums for town residents will follow. All three of the public  forums will be held in the Board Room of L.P.  Wilson Community Center at 601 Matianuck  Ave. in Windsor. They will be held on:

Wednesday,  January 25 at 7 p.m.;

Saturday,  January 28 at 12 noon; and

Tuesday,  February 7 at 7 p.m.

“The  three public hearings will offer Windsor residents the chance to speak directly  to members of the Board of Education about the proposed 2012-2013  budget,” explains  Christopher Watts, Chairperson of the Windsor Public Schools’ Finance Committee. “We  hope that people take  advantage of these opportunities and come to express their  opinions.”
