Dollar Tree Public Hearing

A vote by the commission will follow a public hearing on Dollar Tree's impact on the local environment.

Dollar Tree, Inc.'s plans to build a one-million-square-foot distribution center on Stone Road will come before the Inland Wetlands and Watercourses Commission Thursday night.

Held due to a successful petition effort by residents in opposition, the public hearing will specifically deal with the environmental impact construction of the planned facility will have on local wetlands, approximately 150 feet of which currently sit on the property planned for development.

The public hearing will begin at 6:30 p.m. at Town Hall Council Chambers.
