Council to Address Funding for Town Center Facelift

Council members will discuss an attempt to secure funding to improve Windsor Center's appearance and parking.

When town council members gather this week they are expected to act on an opportunity to secure upwards of $100,000 toward private projects that will contribute to the revitalization of Windsor Center.

According to town documents, the council will discuss applying for participation in the Main Street Investment Fund program, a state initiative to assist Connecticut town's in their efforts to improve commercial centers.

Grant approval provides limited reimbursement for projects already approved by the town.
