Council to Hold Public Hearing on Budget

The public hearing will begin at 7:15 p.m.

The Windsor Town Council is in for a busy evening, as it has scheduled four public hearing topics for Monday night's meeting.

The council will provide time for public comment on nearly $.5 million in bonds issued to fund projects just before alloting 15 minutes for a public hearing on the town's budget for fiscal year 2013.

The Council is also expected to introduce and set a public hearing for more than $2.5 million to be spent on the replacement of the auditorium room at Windsor High School.

The town expects to receive $2.3 million from Travelers Insurance for the cost of the project.

The public hearings and regular meeting will be held in Town Hall Council Chambers. The public hearings will begin at 7 p.m. The regular meeting is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m.
