Budget Cuts Scheduled for Monday

Budget deliberations and adoption will be conducted by the Windsor town council, Mon. July 1.

In addition, the council will set the date of this budget season's fourth referendum.

Windsor residents have rejected the town council's spending proposals on May 14, June 4 and June 25.

Each referendum has been separated by three weeks. Should that pattern continue, the next referendum would be scheduled for Tues., July 16.

The most recent budget proposal represented a $100.7 million spending plan and a .54 percent tax increase.
