The Windsor Police Department holds an arrest warrant and is seeking the whereabouts of Barrington O. Brown, who, police say, is wanted in connection with an alleged home invasion and family violence incident.
According to Windsor police, the incident took place on Conestoga Street, which is off of Rt. 75, and Brown was allegedly armed with a knife.
Brown invaded the home of his four-year-old son's mother, according to Windsor Police Captain Tom LePore.
According to LePore, Brown inflicted minor injuries upon his child's mother, and the child was present at the time.
Brown was last seen leaving the home with the victim's automobile, according to LePore, who added that Brown later abandoned the vehicle and it was recovered by authorities.
According to LePore, Brown gained access to the home after having been motivated by "jealousy issues."
Brown is estimated to stand 6-feet tall and weigh about 280 pounds.
He should be considered armed and dangerous, police say.
Windsor police are actively seeking the location of the 29-year-old suspect, and anyone with information regarding his whereabouts are urged to contact the Windsor Police Department by calling 860-688-5273.
