Windsor Man Charged with Murder in Fatal Stabbing
Man arrested for allegedly stabbing his roommate in the chest.
Police charged a Windsor man with murder after a stabbing incident left his roommate dead Thursday evening.
According to a report by FoxCT, Windsor police responded to Ray Smith and Carl Mitchell’s Bina Ave. residence shortly after 7:30 p.m., where they found Mitchell, 40, with stab wounds in his chest. He was later pronounced dead at Hartford Hospital.
Smith, 44, was charged with murder and interfering with police, as officers reportedly needed to use a Taser to restrain him.
Smith remains in custody at Hartford Hospital while police are investigating, FoxCT reports.
