Windsor Junior Woman's Club Announce Fundraising Donations

Donations in the form of scholarships to Windsor High students and in support of the Windsor Fire Volunteer Fire Department are just a few examples of the club's fundraising efforts in 2013.

The Windsor Junior Woman's Club has completed another year of fundraising in support of local charities, programs and events.

In all, the non-profit organization raised $5,200 in 2013.

The most recent recipients of the club's efforts include:

WHS Scholarships – 2 scholarships - $1,000 each
Windsor Fire Department (Bloomfield Ave.) - $1,000
Northwest Park Country Fair Baskets - $350
St. Gabriel’s School Parking Lot Fund - $300
Windsor Community Service Council (Food and Fuel Banks) - $300
Windsor Community Service Council (Backpack Program) - $300
WIN-TV Hometown for the Troops (Postage for one month) - $300
Tavern Trot sponsorship (Alex’s Lemonade Stand) - $250
Windsor Police Cadets (golf tournament – sponsor a hole, purchase tees and balls) - $200
WHS Equestrian Program for at-risk young women - $100
Windsor Public Library, In honor of former member Joanne “JoJo” Taylor - $100
