[Update] Manchester Community College: Stay Off Campus Until Further Notice

The community college has issued an emergency alert warning students to stay off campus, as reports of a man with a gun on the campus circulate. All classes and events for Wednesday night have been canceled.

"MCC is presently under a shelter-in-place emergency and advises that all students stay off campus until further notice. Remaining classes and events for Wednesday March 6 have been cancelled.

Manchester Community College has issued an emergency alert warning students and staff to stay off campus "until further notice." There is also a large police presence on the campus, and chatter over the police scanner indicates that the police are searching for some type of "suspect" on the campus. 

The Hartford Courant reports that a "man with a gun" was spotted on the campus around 1:30 p.m.
