Truck's Roof Ripped Off by Historic District Bridge

Rt. 159 saw its share of hazards this week, including a Coca-Cola truck's roof being ripped off.

Palisado Avenue saw its share of hazardous conditions, Friday. Not only did a storm cause a smattering of power outages and flooding, but, hours before thunderstorms would sweep through, a tractor trailer lost in a battle with the Historic District bridge.

Thanks to a news tip and photos from Windsor Patch reader Eric Eisnor, you can see the Coca-Cola truck sustained considerable damage, causing it to resemble an opened can of tuna — it's roof ripped in multiple locations after trying to make it under the low bridge.

No one was harmed in the accident, which occurs from time to time as trucks make their way off of I-91 and attempt to make their way through town.
