Train Collision Suspends Amtrak Service Indefinitely

Two Metro-North trains collided Friday evening when one of the locomotives derailed, causing train service to be suspended, CBS Boston reports.

According to CBS, Amtrak service is among those suspended, and all train service between Boston and New York has ceased indefinitely.

That train line includes a stop in Windsor.

CBS reports about 20 people were injuries in the accident, which occurred in Fairfield.
