State Police Continue Search for 3 Escaped Inmates

Police were able to track down two of the three inmates on the run.

State Police said Sunday afternoon that they are still searching for three of the five inmates that escaped from a Hartford halfway house early Saturday morning.

According to police, the inmates, all housed at the Stillman Halfway House on Retreat Avenue in Hartford, were found to be missing from the home. Troopers then responded by searching the immediate area and initiating a criminal investigation, police said.

Hartford and all police agencies were notified of the escape, according to state police.

Police are requesting assistance with regards to the whereabouts of three individuals.

According to police, the three escapees are described as the following:

Tory Keith is described as a 21-year-old black male, is approximately 5-feet 11-inches tall, weighs about 170 pounds, has brown eyes, black hair and was originally charged with possession of narcotics.

Luis Padua is described as a 22-year-old Hispanic male, stands approximately 6-feet tall, weighs 130 pounds, has brown eyes, black hair and was originally charged with the sale of narcotics.

Willie Hughes is described as a 32-year-old black male, stands approximately 6-feet tall, weights 205 pounds, has brown eyes, brown hair and was originally charged with the sale of narcotics.

Those with knowledge of their location or has seen the escapees are asked by police to call 860 534-1000 and urged that all calls will remain confidential.
