Police: Beware of Rabies in Windsor

Multiple confirmed incidents in town have law enforcement warning residents of infected animals in the area.

Windsor Police and Animal Control Office are warning residents of multiple confirmed cases of rabies in town.

According to police, there have been four confirmed rabies incidents in the last few months, including a rabid raccoon that attacked and bit a Windsor resident and her dog.

Police are urging residents to make sure their pets are vaccinated against the disease and refrain from leaving pets outdoors unattended.
