New Allegations Levied Against Windsor Doctor
A lawsuit filed against Edwin Njoku includes new allegations of sexual misconduct, including the use of drug cocktails.
Edwin Njoku, the Windsor doctor charged with sexually assaulting a patient in his East Hartford office, is now being sued by a woman claiming he told her he would have to be the first person to have intercourse with her following surgery, and giving her a cocktail of painkillers in a hotel room, according to Courant.com.
The Courant, citing court documents, reports that Njoku "enticed her to have sexual intercourse" after giving her a combination of pain killing drugs and allowing her to use alcohol along with the drugs.

Njoku's medical license was suspended by Connecticut's Medical Examining Board last month.
He faces charges of forcing a patient to have sexual intercourse in an examination room at his East Hartford office.
