Man Robs Kennedy Road Bank

The suspect fled the scene after taking money from the teller at People's Bank.

A man robbed the People's Bank in the Stop & Shop on Kennedy Road at about 4:20 p.m. Friday, Windsor Police report.

The suspect, a hispanic male weighing between 200 and 220 lbs., and standing between 5-feet-7 and 5-feet-9 inches tall, approached a teller at the bank's window and handed her a handwritten note demanding money, according to Windsor Police.

The teller then handed the suspect an unspecified amount of cash, and he then fled the scene, police added.

According to police, the man was wearing a "puffy" black coat, a black hooded sweatshirt and a black knit hat with a brim. He is described as having gold lower front teeth, a moustach "which was grown beneath the corners of the mouth" and acne scars.

No one was harmed in the robber, police said.
