A beige Infiniti smashed into an optometrist's office on Broad Street early Saturday morning, causing considerable damage to some windows and an awning.
A police dispatcher said the incident occurred at 1:44 a.m. at the office of at 186 Broad Street. The car smashed into the front of the building, causing the awning to collapse and breaking several windows.
A report on Fox 61 News said police had no information as to the number of people in the vehicle or if there were any injuries.

Other questions about the incident were referred to Capt. Thomas Lepore, but he will not be available until Monday, the dispatcher said.
