As the cold winter weather settles in, our four-legged friends need a little extra TLC. This is especially true for the feral cats.  “Feral Cats” originate from abandoned domestic cats who have reverted in some degree to a wild state. However, feral cats are not completely wild because they still depend on people for their food source. Many dedicated caregivers rely on donations of cat food in order to protect their colonies during the cold winter months. Our Companions Animal Rescue provides feral cat food to help as many people and cats as possible but the organization’s supplies have gotten dangerously low.

All food distributed through the food drive will only be offered to cats that have been trapped, neutered and vaccinated and have committed human caretakers. Learn more about how you can help feral cats at www.OurCompanions.org.
