MDC water bill problem

I would like to bring your attention the issue of the MDC billing problem that I feel is causing hardship to many peoplein CT. Check out WFSB 3 last night. The MDC is replacing meters and installing new readers to replace old equipment that does not work.. When this happens, due to faulty equipment, the MDC after under estimating your bill charges you for 3 year or more back. My bill was an extra $1300 moreand others I know have been charged $2800. I believe that the MDC has a monopoly so they do what they want. We the customers need help.  I this economy, we  the people need tospeak up. I believe that a class action suit would stop this bad policy.  The MDC wants to increase the cost of water to its customer, however they do very little to make sure they are getting paid for water useage, only to wait 3 years to find a problem and now want to recoup their loss due to bad business practice. This is  wrong. I hope you can help. I am sure if the Courant ran a story, we could get many people to join the suit.
