GAS LEAKS!

I was a customer of Conn. Yankee Gas in 1973.  I had the gas turned off as I did not use it.  This year, I had some yard work that caused a gas leak and I had to have them come out to disconnect me.  The point of this story is, if you still have equipment from long ago, you should have it inspected or removed.  The company forgot about my connection since I have not paid a bill to them in decades.  This is a process flaw on their part that they do not periodically inspect to make sure that old customers have been completely removed from their system.  The gas company was seen in another location on my street so please do not assume you are fully disconnected.
