False Journalism

In response to the article on the front page of the Windsor Journal titled “NAACP Presses for Completion of Loyola Study” (6/21/2013) written by Lawrence Jaggon and John Karas, on page 5, third column, first paragraph… the opponent of the study being written about at the BOE meeting held on June 18 did NOT turn “to the majority African American audience” and refer to them as “You people” as this paragraph indicates. This individual, who also happens to be of mixed race, was looking straight at the BOE when those two words were spoken, then turned to the audience to say that it was the BOE being addressed. I was in attendance at that meeting and all one has to do is look at the video online (01:13:40) and legal facts were not even being discussed at that moment. Do not print something that is not true. This BOE meeting made me realize just how divided this town has become. All because we, ALL the Windsor residents, want a better education for our children, smart spending of our tax dollars, and communication between the residents, TC and BOE. This kind of false journalism only divides the town even more. Shame on you!
