Dangerous place for your pets!

Pampered Pet Hotel & Spa Windham CT.
I would not let my baby stay here even if it was Free! (Literally) Zero Stars! Do not bring your beloved pet to these people under any circumstances! They cut my baby’s ear off! The staff is untrained, incompetent, and over worked. The animal to staff ratio is ridiculous. And the owner Heidi Bardelli is practically never on the premises. We left our German Sheppard “Walli Girl” at the Pampered Pet for a week in October 2013.We left explicit instructions to keep Walli away from other animals. Walli does not like other animals and can be violent. My wife told the staff this on the phone and I told them when I dropped Walli off, And I made them write it down in Walli’s instructions that she was not to have any contact with any other animals. As I was leaving the young lady was acting like I was being paranoid and overly protective, So I stopped while I was leaving and looked her dead in the eyes and this was not the case and they needed to be very careful not let Walli Girl near any other animals and not be fooled by Walli’s demeanor, she could be fine one second and fighting viciously with another animal the next. While we were driving home we received a call from Pampered Pet stating that Walli was in a fight with another dog supposedly “through a fence”. They told us she was fine but they were taking her to the vets just be safe. I was upset since I told them repeatedly not to expose Walli to other animals in any way, but still I figured accidents happen and they led me to believe Walli had a little boo-boo on her ear. We came home picked up Walli and paid our bill and figured everything was fine. We were told to take Walli to the vets in 10 days to have the bandage removed and make sure there was no infection. Sounded like all was good and I agreed. After 10 days I took Walli back to the vet and was holding her while the bandages where removed and to my horror I saw Walli’s ear was mangled and a good size chunk was missing. I started to cry and almost passed out in the Doctor’s office. This was a far cry from a “Little Boo-Boo” my wife spoke with the owner and she had the audacity to say “We were lucky she paid for the vet bills”. She stated she did not have to because we signed a waiver. I don’t care if we signed 100 waivers, this accident was due to their incompetence and the fact that they did not listen to our instructions. This did not have to happen and should not have happened. Heidi Bardelli also had the giant sacks to say we could bring Walli there free the next time we go away. I would not even let Walli get a shampoo in this place let alone leave her under their care. Walli will never set foot in this place again, Not even for free!
