Black and Latino Parents, Wake Up! Windsor Public Schools is Failing Our Children! 

It’s time to take action! Our Children are in grave danger! Here are the Facts!

• Most Black and Latino children leave Windsor High School unprepared for college, yet most White children leave WHS well prepared to attend college. 
• Most Black and Latino students at Windsor High School are not   adequately prepared to pass the 10th grade CAPTS exam!
• Most Black and Latino students attending Windsor High School are in the lowest track but the district misleadingly calls it “The College Track”.
• Many of the so-called “College Courses” are equal to middle school courses.  Your child could be receiving straight A’s, but if they are on a lower track they will not be college ready. Do you know what track your child is on?
• Your civil rights have been violated.
  

If you don’t believe any of these facts ask your student or go visit the school your child attends.

WE NEED TO SHOW THAT BLACK AND LATINO PARENTS WILL NOT ACCEPT THIS DECEPTION OR MEDIOCRITY ANY LONGER.

June 18th: Come out to the Board of Education meeting 7:00 p.m. Windsor Town Hall, 275 Broad Street to speak in support of maintaining a focus on addressing achievement issues.
