Not-so-lazy-days of summer at WIN-TV

While summer time is usually a quiet time for businesses, at WIN-TV, we've been busier than ever.

Summer is coming to an end and at WIN-TV these summer days have been anything but slow and relaxed.

Our studio and office at the LP Wilson Community Center have been filled to the max with our summer KID VID television production camps, volunteers learning studio and field equipment, learning our editing software, covering events in town, and in pre-production for new Fall programs.

Thanks to our 11 local business sponsors - Windsor Federal, Family Dentistry of Windsor, Alstrom, Carmon Funeral Homes, PC Development, Tunxis Grille, Dom's Broad Street Eatery, Barts, The Beanery, Union Street Tavern, Mahaney's-  Windsor kids created their own original programs each week during the month of July--and had tons of fun doing it!

And we're excited to see how many new people have been coming through our doors this summer to become volunteers or just say hello!

As we gear up for the Fall, we're excited what's coming at WIN-TV. A new session of our after school Filming Chargers Production Club begins up, Senior Voice begins meeting again on Wednesday mornings, Adult production classes begin, and some new studio programs enter production.
