Help a Local Student Master German Engineering

Jacob Greene will be studying abroad and is raising money via the GoFundMe Web site.

According to the page on GoFundMe, Greene is an engineering student at CCSU, studying manufacturing and lean management. He has always aspired to traveling.

The page states, "Like many students, I can't think of a better way to combine both my interests of academia and traveling by studying abroad. I have studied the German language at an intermediate level and hope to excel further during my studies. I have been building and taking things apart since I was a kid (Sorry, Dad). Engineering, especially automotive and aerospace, has always intrigued me, and what's more, everyone does it differently! My study abroad will complete my undergraduate degree and afterwards I wish to continue with my masters while possibly working there (BMW?). Furthermore, I hope my studies and ties in Germany will strengthen more sister-school relationships with CCSU and exchange programs as a way of paying it forward."
