Spring Blooming Bulbs

The Windsor Garden Club will host their next meeting on October 10, 2011 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the LP Wilson Community Center, 599 Matianuck Avenue in Windsor (room location:Cafeteria).

David Witkins, from Revay's Garden and Gift Shop, will give a presentation on "Spring Blooming Bulbs". We will learn about different varieties, creative placement, proper planning and maintenance to provide the longest life for your bulbs and the best bloom. We will also learn how to force bulbs to bloom inside for spring during the dead of winter.

Light refreshments and beverages will be provided starting at 6:30 p.m. Mr. Witkins will begin his talk at 7:00 p.m. After the presentation the WGC will hold a short meeting.

The meeting is open to the public with no admission fee but RSVP is requested. Please call Laura at 860-305-7306 if you plan on attending.
