Farms to Fork CT-Grown Dinner

Enjoy a Connecticut-grown dinner, "Farms to Fork", at Whistle Stop Cafe on Friday, May 13, 2011.  A wondrous selection of Connecticut farm foods will be freshly prepared for your enjoyment.  Tickets are $50 per person.  After dinner will be an 8-item auction of Connecticut gourmet baskets and other locally produced items.  All proceeds benefit the Windsor Education Foundation.

The menu includes assorted cheese and crackers, Cesear salad (crisp Romaine, aged Asiago cheese and garlic croutons with creamy cesear dressing), soft dinner rolls with butter, chicken Francais (lightly breaded chicken breast served with a lemon beurre blanc, over fresh linguini), tri-colored tortellini primevera (spinach, tomato and egg tortellini tossed with broccoli, carrots, onions and red peppers, in a garlic beurre blanc) and assorted cookies and brownies for dessert.

Donation $50.00/person.  All proceeds to benefit Windsor Public School students.
