"Compost Happens"

Windsor Garden Club presents  “COMPOST HAPPENS”.  This is our first official meeting of the new
season.  Carol Quish will give a presentation on “Compost Happens”. Composting information on how it happens, why it happens and the different ways to compost will be covered in her power point presentation.  Ms. Quish is a horticulturist with the UConn Home and Garden Education Center, UConn Department of Plant Science and Landscape Architecture. Light refreshments and beverages will be provided starting at 6:30 pm.  Carol will begin her talk at 7:00 p.m.  After the presentation, we will review the
WGC season, make preparations for the Northwest Park picnic basket, and plans for Windsor Garden Clubs 75th Anniversary.  Remember that fall is a good time to divide spring and early summer flowering perennials.  If you have a plant to share, please inform club members of the availability.  If you have a need for a specific plant, let it be known, and perhaps another member can help out.  Please RSVP to Laura Jary at 860-305-7306 if you are interested in attending.

We’ve removed the ability to reply as we work to make improvements. Learn more here
