Someone contacted WIN TV this morning and learned that they plan to tape tonight's meeting(s).  So if you cannot attend, you can watch later.

Avon Lady August 29, 2013 at 05:23 PM Good to hear Recommend Flag as Inappropriate Avon Lady August 29, 2013 at 06:12 PM Which channel is/was it on? I didn't find it on tv or online & listed online for the future playing is the previously recorded interview with him & the rally to waste money money on bringing back the waste of money to have Doreen's friend Recommend Flag as Inappropriate Jenny Hawran August 30, 2013 at 08:16 AM We're putting it together now (5 hours of tape to get into the computer) and it will run on Channel 5 & 95. We will also get a copy to Government channel 96 at Town Hall for them to run. I'll post times when I have them. 2 Recommend Flag as Inappropriate Avon Lady August 30, 2013 at 11:47 AM Quite disappointed it wasn't streamed live - there were old cartoons & tv shows from the 60's? playing instead of the Live Stream Recommend Flag as Inappropriate Jenny Hawran August 30, 2013 at 08:18 PM I agree with your disappointment. The reality is, though, that only when a meeting is taking place in the council chamber room at Town Hall can it be broadcast live. The BOE room at LP Wilson is not wired for audio or video. So when BOE calls us, we bring in a field camera and do the best we can. 1 Recommend Flag as Inappropriate Avon Lady August 31, 2013 at 02:58 PM I was under the impression that the LP Wilson building was already wired up since the WIN-TV studio was in that building? Whatever any of us write here in Patch land, the context can only be best understood by hearing the words from the MJLU research team. It looks like the peer review process is beginning here in patch land already. I will share Dr. James' intentions of publication in a separate posting. 1 Recommend Delete Catherine & Dennis August 31, 2013 at 08:09 PM @George-didn't you start all of the discussion in Patch land? Did Dr James ask you to share his intentions or are they your interpretation? Just asking for clarification. Thanks 1 Recommend Flag as Inappropriate George Slate August 31, 2013 at 09:37 PM I do not know his intentions. I am only commenting on what is written in the report. I first met Dr. James in the hallway at about 8 p.m. last night. He talks a smooth talk. For me, I am careful with what I write, and maybe a little looser with what I vocally say. I am disturbed by what Dr. James writes. My pet project in this has been from publishing exotic conjectures in a peer reviewed journal (more on this in a separate posting). As I said in a posting tonight, I wanted something out there in Patch land, for those not at the meetings, but mainly if it was his report's words that I quoted. Eventually, we will talk through the whole report. As I've said at the second meeting last night, I am deeply troubled that the MJLU report ignores one quarter or one third of the WHS students in its data summaries. Did they cherry pick who to track (yes, a pun on their focus on tracking)? In my upcoming new posting, I will identify the over 200 missing students by race and gender. 1 Recommend Delete Jenny Hawran September 01, 2013 at 01:59 PM WIN-TV Channel 5 Tonight, Sunday, September 1 8PM- BOE Special Meeting & EER 10PM - EER Community Forum From Thursday, August 29 It is also streaming live from the front page of our website www.win-tv.org at those times.
