Windsor Lions Columbus Day Arts & Crafts Fair
The Windsor Lions Club will host
its 23rd Columbus Day Arts and Crafts Fair on Saturday October 12th
from 9 to 4 on the Windsor
town green on Broad Street. Approximately 50 exhibitors will be on display,
there is free parking, no admission fee and the Lions will be selling food and
refreshment throughout the day. Public sanitary conveniences are available. The
Windsor Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual Chili Challenge on the town
green at the same time, so there will be lots to see, buy and taste. The Windsor Lions Club donates proceeds from
its fundraisers primarily to local charities and community activities. Some of the many programs that the Windsor
Lions support are: free eye care to Windsor residents in need, the Connecticut
Library for the Blind, eye research at Yale New Haven Hospital, Connecticut
Radio Information Service (CRIS), scholarships for Windsor High School
students, Windsor Public Library, FIDELCO, Windsor food and fuel banks and
Northwest Park. Come have a great time at the Fair and the Chili Fest! And...if
you want to find out more about the Windsor
Lions...the members...the causes they support...just ask any Lion at the Arts
and Crafts Fair.
