Pet Food Pantry Celebrates 2 years

Friends
of Windsor Animal Care and Control is celebrating its second

anniversary and is having a pet food drive.  It will be held at the

Windsor Stop and Shop, 1095 Kennedy Road, Windsor, CT this coming

Saturday.  The need is
extremely urgent right now, with this horrible. economy.  The group is
now helping 79 families feed their pets.  100% of the proceeds goes to feed the pets of Windsor residents. 

 

This will be a fun event.  It will include:

 





  • Cookout


  • Face Painting from 11-2


  • DJ Joe Frederick 11-3


  • Two dozen raffles


The
pet pantry is able continue helping Windsor's pets thanks to the

generosity of Stop & Shop, Petco, Kibble-n-Stuff (Dexter Plaza, Windsor Locks), Pet Supplies Plus and donations from individuals.
