When the men went to war during World War II, Rosie the Riveter and Her Sisters stepped in and proved to the nation that women could do the jobs the men left behind, changing America forever. Join us at the Wilson Branch Library on Saturday, November 10th as Trish Chambers becomes “Rosie the Riveter” and shares the experiences of women in the 1940’s as they helped to pave the way for the feminist revolution of the 1960’s. This free presentation, for people ages 8 and up, will be from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Call 860-247-8960 to register.
