America is becoming increasingly diverse in many ways. One of the most obvious is religious diversity, as evidenced by the construction of numerous new mosques and Hindu temples, to name only two. This spring the Connecticut Valley Church of Christ will host a new study series that will examine several of the world’s major religions. Particular attention will be paid to those areas where these religions compare to and contrast with Christianity. The public is invited to attend.

Residents have repeatedly been told that development will produce "benefits" for them and the town and help keep taxes low. Meanwhile, those "benefits" always seem to go to an ever hungry, yet still failing, education beaurocracy while the center of town and other neighborhoods languish with no improvements and taxes still go up.
