Dance Performance and Talk-back by James Morrow

The Windsor Art Center is proud to present a solo-performance and talk-back by dancer and choreographer, James Morrow, on Saturday, August 17th, at the Windsor Art Center, located at 40 Mechanic Street in Windsor, CT. Morrow will be presenting his solo triptych “11,” which explores the politics of identity. Here he investigates the tensions between perfection and perdition as human beings navigate an intricate labyrinth to relate to their gods. In this work, Morrow brings morality and sexuality into question while examining his relationship to both his Catholic upbringing and the Chicago house community, weaving high art and urban aesthetics. Morrow is currently on the faculty at the Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts.

This event is free and is part of the Windsor Art Center's current exhibition, THE STREETS IS TALKIN’. For more information, please call 860-688-2528 or visit www.windsorartcenter.org
