CRIS Radio's 4th Annual Dining & Dancing in the Dark

Dining
& Dancing in the Dark to Support CRIS Radio

Join local celebrities at
CRIS Radio’s unique 4th Annual Dining & Dancing in the Dark event on
Saturday, April 26 at the Bond Ballroom in Hartford, Conn. to support
Connecticut’s only radio-reading service that broadcasts audio versions of news
and information, including educational materials, for children and
adults who are blind or print-challenged.

Scot Haney, WFSB
meteorologist and co-host of Better Connecticut, will emcee the event.

Attendees will wear eye
disease simulator glasses in the dark as a way to highlight the challenges of
daily living without sight or with a disability. Following dinner, the lights
come up for CRIS Radio’s own version of Dancing with the Stars, featuring
several local celebrities taking complimentary lessons provided by Arthur
Murray Studios.
