Windsor to Hold Veterans Day Observance

The town's annual observance of Veterans Day will be held on Sunday, November 11 at Town Hall.

The town of Windsor has announced its annual Veterans Day observance will be held at town hall on Sun., Nov. 11.

The observance, which is open to the public, will feature Windsor's own Lieutenant Colonel Robert M. Nugent, who most recently served as the Regimental Operations Officer in Niantic, CT in the 169th Regional Training Institute.

Nugent is also served as a member of the security directorate and joint area support group Baghdad in 2004 and 2005 in Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Nugent will be the observance's keynote speaker. The ceremony will also feature a performance from the Windsor High School band.

The observance will begin at 7 p.m. in town hall council chambers.
