Windsor Schools Close in Anticipation of Hurricane Sandy

Local schools have announced closings for Monday, October 29 and Tuesday, October 30.

Windsor Public Schools and Trinity Christian School have announced school will be closed on Mon., Oct. 29 and Tues., Oct. 30 in anticipation of Hurricane Sandy.

Windsor, according to the National Weather Service , is particularly vulnerable to Sandy's high-powered winds and flooding.

Reports call for as much as 5 inches of rain in some areas and wind gusts up to 60 miles per hour.

The high wind warning for Windsor is currently in effect from 6 a.m. on Monday through 6 a.m. on Tuesday.

Please tell the catholic school board to do the same thing..

catholic school board or not I am keeping my kids home ,,and many parent should do the same thing ,,use of better judgement when the board clearly has been warned of the outcome is devastating ,,I am watching the president on t.v warning people this is no joke.
