Windsor Named 14th Best Town to Live In

Connecticut Magazine's list of best town's to live in places Windsor at No. 14 in its category.

Connecticut Magazine recently released the results of its "Rating the Towns" edition for 2011, and Windsor was ranked No. 14 among towns with populations between 25,000 and 50,000 residents.

Windsor's place on the list of 26 communities was based on quality of education, crime rates, local economy, cost of living and leisure, which, according to the magazine, most people rank as the main indicators of quality of life in a community.

Based on scores given by Connecticut Magazine, Windsor benefited from its cost of living and quality of leisure activities and crime rate. The town's ranking suffered due to its quality of education, which was ranked No. 23 on the list of 26 towns.
