Warriors Look to Improve Record, Ball Safety Against Maloney Tonight

Moved from Friday, Windsor will host Maloney tonight at Jack O'Brien.

Coming off their toughest win of the season, a 35-14 trouncing of then-undefeated Farmington, the Warriors will host Maloney Monday evening following a week without school and lives disrupted by the dark and cold.

Maloney (3-4, 2-2 CCC II West) currently sits right in the middle of CCC Division II West standings, below Windsor, Farmington and Middletown, above Bristol Central and Eastern.

The Spartans' three wins came against Central, Eastern and Bulkeley, who's sole win came against an 0-7 Fermi squad.

Windsor comes into Monday's contest on a mission to cut down on mistakes, something that has been the Warriors' true achilles heal throughout the season.

Windsor lost two fumbles against Farmington on Oct. 28 — one came at a crucial juncture in the game, giving Farmington some momentum on its way to a first quarter that had the Warriors' back on their heels.
