Town Needs Volunteers For Emergency Exercise

The exercise will be held Thursday morning from 8:30 - 9:30 a.m.

Town-wide emergencies are few and far between, but it's always a good thing to be prepared. Becoming prepared is what the town plans to do Thursday morning at the high school when it conducts a mock emergency drill.

Sponsored by Mass Dispensing Area #31 (MDA #31), the drill will test the town's ability to respond to an emergency in which antibiotics must be distributed to residents.

To successfully organize such a drill, the town is in need of residents, and those who work in town, to volunteer. Those interested can arrive at the high school anytime between 8:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. Families are welcome, refreshments will be served, and volunteers will have a chance to win an Apple iPad.
