Street Sweeping Schedule Announced
Take a look at where your street falls on the town's street-cleaning list.
Windsor officials announced the 2013 schedule of street sweeping Wednesday, promising every street in town will be cleaned this year.
Sweeping is scheduled to begin this week, according to the town's website.
According the department of public works' (DPW) schedule, street sweeping will be conducted by neighborhood.
The order in which streets are scheduled to be cleaned is as followed:
- Wilson area (completed on April 2, 2013)
- Deerfield area
- Arrowbrook, Oakland Hills neighborhoods
- Clover, Plymouth, Ludlow, Nook Farms neighborhoods
- Windsor Center
- Mill Brook (Mack Street, East Street, Pleasant Street neighborhoods)
- Hayden Station, Pilgrim Village, Palisado neighborhoods
- River Street, Strawberry Hill neighborhood
- Rainbow area
- Walden Meadow, Prospect Hill neighborhoods
- Pouquonock, Farmstead, Village Lane neighborhoods
- Bloomfield Avenue area, Dudley Town Road, Pigeon Hill neighborhoods
- Matianuck Avenue area
- Willowcrest, Middlebrook, Green Manor neighborhoods
