Leonid Meteor Shower at its Brightest Thursday
The sky will be full fo shooting stars after midnight.
According to The Huffington Post, the annual Leonid Meteor Shower will give its brightest showing Thurs., Nov. 17.
The shower is the result of the earth passing through space full of debris left behind by comets and astroids, according to Space.com
And while stargazers may be eager to get a glimpse of the show, they may have to wait until the wee hours of the night to truly see all that this year's Leonid shower has to hold, The Huffington Post reports.

According the the HuffPost report, the shower will have to compete with the light of the moon, which is expected to be well developed on this, the 17th night of the month.
In addition, the point at from which the shower will orginiate will be below the horizon line for much of the night.

So, HuffPost suggests, those wanting to see the show will likely have to wait until midnight to be impressed.
