Updated: Hundreds in Windsor Without Power After Strong Winds

CL&P is reporting power outages across the state, including in Windsor.

Connecticut Light and Power has made considerable strides in getting Windsor residents up and running after a windy Wednesday night. 

As of 2 p.m., Thursday, just 34 households or businesses in Windsor are without power.

According to Connecticut Light and Power, hundreds of households and businesses in Windsor are without power Thursday morning, after a powerful wind and rain storm swept through the state overnight.

According to CL&P's outage map, 307 Windsor housholds and businesses do not have power as of 9:52 a.m., representing 2 percent of the utility's customers in town.

Across the state, 5 percent of CL&P customers are without power Thursday — that's nearly 65,000 households and businesses.

Salem and Montville seem to have suffered the worst of Wednesday's storm, as the towns are currently 43 and 39 percent powerless Thursday morning.

CL&P has not released a time frame for when all customers will have electricity again.
