Drinking Liberally to Address Income Inequality Tonight

Drinking Liberally in Windsor will meet at the Union Street Tavern at 7:30 p.m. tonight.

Drinking Liberally in Windsor, the town's politically-progressive discussion group, will meet tonight for their monthy meeting at the Union Street Tavern. As the group's name suggest, alcoholic beverages will be consumed, but that's not meant to overshadow the serious nature of their monthly bull sessions.

Tues., May 3 at 7:30 p.m. Drinking Liberally will discuss income inequality and the subsequently shrinking American middle class.

The group will receive a special visit from United for a Fair Economy, a group that specializes in income inequality research. The Better Choices campaign will make an appearance at the meeting to discuss a Connecticut tax structure in which higher paid residents pay a greater portion of taxes to the state.
