Conversations on Parenting Coming to Windsor

Parents, caregivers and more will attend the fifth annual Childhood Conversations Conference.

Parenting is a full-time job. Whether it's taking care of a head cold, making sure homework is done on a nightly basis, or just trying to get the kids to eat what you cooked for dinner that night, there's always something to be resolved. Since there isn't a manual that comes with a child or an instant solution for issues that arise, the opportunity to talk with other parents to find something that just might work is invaluable.

This opportunity is exactly what will be provided Saturday during the fifth annual Childhood Conversations Conference in Windsor.

The conference is a full day of workshops aimed at providing parents, caregivers, foster parents, professional educators, social workers and therapists insight into childcare techniques and issues, says Windsor Social Services Caseworker Debbie Sheldon.
