2013 Shad Derby Queen Candidates Revealed
The candidates were official presented to the public Friday during the annual Shad Derby Gala at Birch Meadow Banquet Facility in Bloomfield.
The 2013 candidates for Shad Derby Queen made their first official appearance Friday during the annual Shad Derby Gala, held at Bloomfield's Bich Meadow Banquet Facility.
The Gala marks the first in a series of judged events and makes up 15 percent of each candidate's score in their bid for the Shad Derby crown.
Subsequent judging events include a private interview and speeches delivered at May's coronation ball.
